Hotel Wing International Hakata Shinkansenguchi

We highly recommend this hotel. Accommodation includes breakfast. It's like having meals at home as you dine with other guests in the common dining area. Unlimited coffee , tea, and potato soup, which goes well with yummy breads. Onsen ( hot pool) was also included. The room was clean, and we had an amazing sleep every night for the past 5 nights we stayed there. It is very near the hakata station, and all the food restaurants are around the hotel. We will definitely come back to Fukuoka and stay again in this hotel. Staff were all helpful and friendly too. Many thanks again.

I got a little confused in the rain looking for hotel because I missed the signboard but after recognising, it did not happen again. The room was cosy and I liked the layout. However, the sofa in the room looked a little dusty and there were some stains on it. The location of the hotel was great since it was near the combini and the cafe opposite, and I could also get to JR Hakata Station pretty easily. Simple breakfast was provided but it got crowded since the lobby area is not designed for a large number of people to eat and lounge at. I ended up bringing my bread bun and morning drink back to the room for a more leisurely and comfortable breakfast. Overall, it was worth the money.

Pretty decent hotel within 4 minute walk from Hakata station. For the cost, during Christmas holidays I can't complain. Rooms were decent sized, small but bigger than Tokyo. Had a small basic breakfast of different types of bread and butter/jam and coffee included which was welcome. I loved the sitting area/library on the 2nd floor which had a great collection of books related to music, photography, travel etc along with a coffee machine. If I had more time I would have loved to spend time reading over there. One of the books they had was about a now famous street photographer called Vivian Maier which was fascinating. I can see that they have some good taste in finer things in life. I would just love to sit there for hours and have coffee and read but japan is so beautiful that we spent most of the time travelling. Maybe next time..

Location was great. Less than 5 min walk from JR. Prime location to travel around Hakata. I enjoyed the bath regardless of how simple it was. A nice option to help decompress. Room was big for Japan standards...I have been traveling for over 1.5 months, and it is nice to have the option to spread out a bit. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is close to Hakata Station, about a 5 minute walk away. There are shopping centers all around, and even though it was a busy area it never felt unsafe. The public bath was nice with water of a good temperature. I used it every night to relax after a long day of commuting. The staff are all nice and professional.
